I'm orginally from San Diego, California. My husband and I moved to Texas in 2005 to escape the never-ending teacher layoffs and high cost of living. We lived just outside of Austin until 2014, when we made the best decision to move to Denver, Colorado. In 2010 we welcomed out son Ryker, and in 2013 welcomed our little one Palmer.
I attended UCLA for my undergraduate degree. I completed my masters degree from UNT in 2008. I'm currently working on my second masters in Library Science and Technology. I love teaching and I love learning. I didn't set out to be a teacher, but teaching stole my heart. I am so excited to be a part of Oakland Elementary. This year I will be working as the First Grade Team Lead and as an instructional leader for language arts. I know this is going to be a fantastic year. I can't wait to show your students what they can achieve. |
